2007
In August 2007, business sales specialist, RTA Europe approached Ultra IT regarding the development of a commercial property website which was to include Multi Currency and Task Manager optional features.
In November, with the new site now live, they requested development of advanced advertising functionality to enable them to create and email advertisements directly from their dedicated admin area.
2008
A very busy year for RTA and Ultra IT!
In March RTA decided to take advantage of the benefits of a professional SEO campaign to attract even more visitors to their new website. Keywords were chosen which would make most impact in their market sector.
In April, Content Management was added to enable RTA to create, edit and manage their own web pages within their website, creating new sections and categories on their homepage menu. Another feature selected at this time was the excellent Email All which allows RTA to email all their registered clients iat once with news items, mail shots, etc.
In June, RTA chose to add Spanish language to their main site plus the Document Store feature which enabled them to upload PDF documents for their agents to download as required.
September saw Ultra IT setting up XML feeds to property portals for RTA to update property portals automatically and eliminate the time consuming work entering properties in each portal.
After the success of their first site, in November Ultra IT agreed another new project with RTA Europe to construct a website for the RTA franchise product. This site would provide information for prospects interested in the RTA franchises. Clients would first have to register and then download a PDF document regarding RTA´s product.
In December, RTA asked Ultra IT to build them a Spanish Hotel Sales website and this project was completed with features including Flash and Featured Properties.
RTA Director, Paul Mitchell said, "We initially asked UltraIT to build our website for our commercial properties. We are so impressed we are now working with the UltraIT team on a new hotel site, a new franchise exhibition site and our Search Engine Optimisation campaign! We have added Content Management and Automatic Portal Feeds to our commercial property website. Content Management is incredibly easy to use and the Feeds are saving us so much time – we no longer have to slave away re-entering properties into all the portals!”
Also in December, Ultra IT was given another new project - the RTA Ireland website, which was to be developed based on the existing Spanish site with the same colours as the UK site.
2009
This year looks set to continue in the same way as 2008, with a wealth of new projects and features.
In January the new RTA Ireland website was launched. Some excellent features of the website include Flash, Advanced Search and Live Chat.
In February, having seen the timesaving advantages of XML feeds, more were added for major advertising portals. In March, Ultra IT has been working on a redesign of RTA’s Window Display sheet and discussing new websites for RTA in USA and Hungary plus a potential Blog website.
